Please read these guidelines prior to posting or commenting on the forum.

1. Descriptive Titles

Use clear and concise titles that reflect the content of your post. Avoid vague or misleading titles (e.g., "Help!" or "Urgent").

2. Provide Meaningful Content

When asking questions, describe the issue thoroughly. Include relevant details like background information, system specs, or steps you've already taken to resolve the problem.

When answering questions, read the entire question carefully, provide clear and relevant solutions, and back your response with actionable steps or examples. Answering with "Google it" is not an appropriate answer. Stay respectful, encourage learning, and follow up if needed to help resolve the issue.

3. Be Clear and Concise

Stick to one topic per post. Clearly state your question, concern, or observation. Avoid typing out long paragraphs. Use bullet points if needed. In other words, don't post long walls of text.

4. Acknowledge Answers

If you find a solution, thank contributors and mark it as resolved (if in a Q&A forum). If you find a solution on your own, please post the solution either by commenting on your thread or by editing your original post. Posting your solution will help anyone who might come accross the same problem in the future.

5. Avoid Duplicate Topics

Do your own research before posting. Someone else on the forum may have already posted about the same topic or question. The exception to this is if that information is outdated or if you have additional meaningful information regarding the topic.

6. Stay on Topic

Ensure your post aligns with the purpose of the forum and any comments are within the thread's topic. Non-relevant or off-topic posts disrupt relevant discussion.

7. Avoid Double Posting

If you have additional content to add to a thread or comment you already posted, please edit the original post instead of making another one.

8. Editing Content

When editing a post, ensure that you indicate what content was edited. For example, writing "Edit:" before content that was edited into your post.

If you are editing your post to change the original content, indicate what content you edited. For example, "Edit: Fixed a typo."

If you are editing your post to remove or change information, avoid deleting the information. Instead, strike out the text you intend to remove.
